The questions for a certification exam are pulled from directly the class quizzes. You can revisit your classes and quizzes at any time.

The exam is 50 questions. All questions come from the 5-Week class unit quizzes.

You must score a minimum of 80%. That’s 40/50 correct questions. Each question is worth 1 point.

You have one opportunity to pass per registration. If you do not pass, you can re-register. There are no discounts for retakes.

Our certificates are not accredited. Because they are based on business philosophies and not specific technologies, there is currently no body that might provide accreditation. But our courses are taught exclusively by internationally recognized thought leaders in the SMB IT community. For example, CompTIA certificates focus on the technology of Windows, networking, and security. They rarely address business models such as Managed Services. And when they do, the business-model courses are not accredited by ANSI and ISO. Their web site is careful to point out that only a few of their courses are actually accredited.

Having said that, 2023 will be the tenth year that IT Service Provider University has been offering thought leadership and education to the SMB IT community. Thousands of students have completed our programs, and we are recognized as one of the few places where you can get great courses focused 100% on managed services and the SMB market.

Re-taking a class

Yes! Whether you registered for a live class or the on-demand version, you will always be able to take it again. Classes go live every 12-18 months on average and are updated to current best practices and standards. We recommend you join all subsequent live classes to support your business.

Each class has a unit called “Live Class Information.” When a class is marked as Live, the Zoom registration link will be available here.

If you are retaking the class and want to join live, go the this unit and register.

This also works if you lost the Zoom confirmation email.

No – to keep things as streamlined as possible, all recordings and handouts are removed about 2 weeks prior to the live class starting. The recordings are not available for download, but you can download all the handouts (including the slide deck).
